Our business partner has gone to APlus.net to register domain names. The site informs him that the names are available, he pays, prints his receipt. Then, sometimes days later, he gets a strange email that the Domain names are not available. We have investigated this and found that some of the domain names, that were available, were supposedly registered in 1998, etc.
a) Is anyone else having trouble like this with APLus.net
Their own rep said that it is virtually impossible for names to come up as AVAILABLE when they are not. Thus, for my business partner to have this happen numerous times, something seems fishy, based on our experiences and proof.
The web must have integrity and this can only be done by forcing more honesty onto firms who put money before honesty. It is possible that there are people on the INSIDE who work together, and that the owners of APlus.net do not know about this, but APlus.net is caught in another lie also. Google it...
APlus.net. Scam or Professional. Are domain names being stolen from customers?
That happened to me before at http://www.godaddysucks.com I think it's a problem with ICANN and not with any specific company selling the domains.
