Is there a way I can register a domain name without the "www" in front?
I know that most of the domain registration services automatically puts the "www" in front so you don't really have a choice. But would it be possible to ONLY register something like "example.com" and not "www.example.com"?
Thanks!
Register domain name without "www"?
In case you are serious with this question, the domain you purchase is always sans "www" and is only the URL itself. Whether or not a "www" shows up in the browser window when you type it in is a server configuration issue (once you've purchased and host your domain). You can create canonical errors when your URL doesn't work without the "www" so it must be configured properly. There are also implications for search engine optimization (SEO) when not configured properly.

I never type www. and always get to the site I am wanting to get to including mine.
