Will using a shared host web server be ok?    [Imwebhost]

My site currently is hosted with Yahoo. (SecuritySaint.com) . I am adding two more sites with different domain names and linking them together. I want to go to a less expensive host, will this effect my organic ranking? or hurt in any way? Any info. on CityMax web hosting? or Bluehost? I am considering them.

Will using a shared host web server be ok?

I can only speak in generalites as there are simply too many variables to refine my answer. In general, a shared host provides less overall bandwith than a dedicated host. So, if you share hosting, find a provider with fewer users. Fewer users means less competitin for the available bandwidth. There are web providers which will provide you with a dedicated hosting service, in which you are guaranteed a certain amount of bandwidth. Your specific needs will determine which is best for you. If you are cojnducting a business and need bandwidth, then a dedicated hosting service is best even though the cost per month will be higher. Shared hosting is cheaper than dedicated hosting, but then you have to compete with all of the other users of the same hosting service, and if they are doing business, may hog the bandwidth, which makes yours suffer. Your ranking may not change with bandwidth in search engines, since ranking comes from several parameters like hits per unit time and keywords, not throughput. You need to do more homework on the throughput issue. If cost is a factor, then by all means, go with the lowest per month, but your bandwidth/throughput may suffer. Only you can decide what works best for the purpose of your site(s) and how you conduct your web business, if indeed you are in business. I opted for a shared host with fewer users for my sites, but then again, I am not doing business, just running personal domains for my own entertainment.

Shared web hosts are not bad unless you are a very large corporation, I would recommend blue host because it has an auto installer which means you can auto install and manage like 27 scripts. They also have very good customer support ive heard, i am going to sign up with them in like a month or two.

This should't hurt you because they offer a search site submission for free. Also, you have an easy to use control panel to transfer your content from anywhere you want.

Good Luck!
