I am having bother with network, had low or no connectivity prolem think we resolved that now cannot connect to web sites or a select few we can but not yahoo or others been here for days and cannot get help. please i am going mad here and need help. anyone any suggestions, only serious answers please will chat through MSN or skype if need be
have bought new ethernet switch and cables today, reformatted laptop as well but cannot get on line except the host pc is connecting as per normal,
Cannot get on LAN?
If you are connecting to your network wirelessley do the following to simplify your issue. More info is needed here though to provide a good satisfactory answer.
1. Connect your PC to your internet router/modem by a cable, not wirelessly.
2. Make sure that you are connected to your ISP (internet service provider) username and password error is a common fault of no net connectivity.
3. Can you connect or 'ping' any other PC's on your network (LAN) eg: ping 192.168.1.1
4. ensure that there isn't any firewall software blocking you.
5. A whole host of other tips here, too many to list, could go on for ever.
