And you have a web site

it is not the answer for my question - not yet clarified what to do at first all are just placing a link to learn from here or there it is of no use for me i learnt a lot from articles & blogs - write personal experience dont scrumble or write something just by doing a search on search engine Report It

It doesn't matter the order you buy it and the like, just how you set it up. I prefer to design first.
What you do is buy webspace or use a free host, or even use your computer as a web host (must have IIS available in at least WinXP Pro, or another web server), then buy a domain (you can actually buy a domain first) but now you setup the domain to work with your host, by pointing ip addresses known as dns servers to your host, then uploading your site to the web (preferrably by FTP). If you are using your own computer for hosting, you already have it on your computer so set the dns servers to work with your computer.
