I have followed the instructions suggested on Weebly (which are the same instructions I found elsewhere on the Web) namely to go into the DNS Management tools of my Go Daddy account to change the CNET settings or point to Weebly IP addres. It's been a week and nothing. When I type my new address into the URL it just shows a page of ads "parked free by Go Daddy". I have tried emailing Go Daddy but they never bother responding. I have now spent money on a domain name and can't do anything with it. Some help please?
Bought a domain name from Go Daddy to host it on Weebly - but it isn't working!?
Not quite sure how weebly works but usually this process should be very fast and easy. You change the Name server to point to my host. For example, when I sign up with Hostgator, they'll tell me the Name Server (e.g. www.HOSTGATORNS231.com). And I'll put that into where I register my domain.
GoDaddy is legit. So you're probably doing something wrong with regard to what to put into the Name Server.
I highly recommend you go with a better web hosting though. HostGator allows me to start working on the site IMMEDIATELY after I changed the Name Server.

I don't think inputting the weebly IP address will work. It's the IP address for weebly, not that of your site on weebly. You need to find a way to have your domain on go-daddy redirect to your weebly-site URL. It should be somewhere in your go-daddy settings.
