FOR ALL U HATERS THAT THINK PHILOSOPHY TAKES U NO WHERE, TELL THAT 2 OTHER SUCCESSFUL PHILO MAJORS LIKE: former president bill clinton, jeopardy host Alex T., Former president and and founder & drafter of our constitution Thomas Jefferson, comedian-actor Steve Martin, 11 time doctorate and nobel prize, freedom activist Martin Luther King....this proves my point to all u haters thats philo majors are successful in whatever they do, and have the freedom to choose any career path unlike u math or science or business majors that are pigeon-holed in a career.
Why do people hate and make fun of people w/ philosophy degrees? Jealous of a plethora of jobs available 2 us?
Because there are very few jobs that are specifically looking for philosophy majors.
I made fun of business majors (crowded field)
Science/math majors (nerds with no social skills)
Anthropology majors (want fries with that", or " unemployed)
and my major was psych you want to to talk about (want fries with that", or " unemployed). I didn't want to get pigeonholed either.
Truth be told not everyone has the aptitude to be a Dr/Lawyer/Architect/Computer Geek etc.
Just be proud you chose what you did if you're good at it you'll go a lot further than Patrick Swayze's character in Roadhouse.
