For legal purposes I need to register an address for my new internet shop to be shown on the site. I have PO Box for mail to come and go but a PO Box is not accepted as a registered address. The reason I dont want to use my home address is very simple - I dont want customers calling at my home looking for products. There is nothing illegal about this just want my home life kept separated from business. What can I do to provide an address other than a PO Box to my host providers?
Other then PO Box's what is there?
Register the address at your Solicitors or at a Bank...they charge for this, but I think it can be done.

you will have to rent an address then - somewhere small. if i was buying anything over the internet i would want to know where and who to go to in case of any problems... its just common sense really - would you buy something online if you didnt know the source?

OK, if you're really legit, give the hosting company your real mailing address. Go get a hotmail address if need be to register for email.
Go to the post office and have anything addressed to "Harry's Sales" forwarded to the PO box.
Have all the contact addresses on your web site going to Harry's Sales, PO Box 1111 (or whatever).
The only people that would try to find your real address on whois are the ones that are really pissed... Hopefully, you are legit and won't piss people off.

Knownow't has the right idea but most people who sell registered office space (such as myself) don't allow it to be used for trading purposes because of tax implications. The link below is to a typical virtual office provider who charges 拢60 a month - there are others but they are all quite pricey because of the risk (HMRC treat this kind of business as high risk to tax)
