I want to set up a members area in my site without spending money? [Imwebhost]

I use freewebs as a host and have absolute NO knowledge on PHP or ASP. I have tried using poppy dog startup but it costs a lot if I want people to subscribe for membership and accept their money per year or per month ( or lifetime charge).

Can any one tell me a place where I can set up a secure members area and safely accept their money ?
